The general and 24-hour lines are 337-463-3281 and 833-404-1371. Administrative hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The sheriff's contact form is not watched around the clock.

Court minutes and certified criminal records come from the Clerk rather than the jail. The 36th Judicial District Court can route court-proceeding questions, while the Clerk's Criminal Department supplies public case records and copies.
