Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search
A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. Beauregard Parish Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Emails and Messages
If you send an email or contact message, we retain it as needed to respond. We do not share the message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Technical Data Collected
Routine logs and analytics may record basic technical details when a page loads, including:
- The device's IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device class and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring site, when available
- Date and time stamps
Cookie Controls
Cookies help measure how visitors use the site. A browser can reject or remove them, although blocking cookies may change how some features work.
Reasons We Use Data
Collected data supports limited operational and service purposes:
- Operating the site and maintaining performance
- Sending search requests to the selected partner
- Learning which pages readers find useful
- Finding and repairing technical faults
- Displaying ads that may reflect visitor interests
Privacy Beyond This Site
Links lead to sheriff and corrections pages, government record portals, release resources, and third-party search tools. After a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy governs its collection and use of data.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to recognize activity across sites and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs under the partner's controls, not ours.
Parties That Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be provided to:
- Search partners that process a submitted query
- Analytics providers
- Advertising networks
- Law enforcement or a government body acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
We use standard safeguards suited to the information handled. No connected service can be made fully secure, so we cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion if a minor submitted information.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law, a visitor may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of personal data we hold
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete eligible personal data
- Stop certain forms of processing
Notice Revisions
We may revise this notice as practices change. A new version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
